IOSC 2011 Conference Highlights and Special Events

2011 IOSC Golf Tournament
The IOSC 2011 Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 23 at The Oregon Golf Club located in West Linn, which is 30 minutes from Downtown Portland. Set against the backdrop of the Cascade Mountains, the course follows the natural contours of the land offering a scenic and challenging golf experience. The scramble tournament is scheduled for an 8:00am shotgun start and will be limited to the first 100 registered players. Cost of the tournament will be $400 per team or $100 per individual. Tournament fees will include 18-holes of golf, breakfast, practice range, lunch reception and prizes afterwards.

Welcome Reception
Attendees are invited to nosh and network while they view the latest innovations and best practices across the spectrum of Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Restoration. You can enjoy complimentary beverages and light refreshments while strolling the aisles, meeting exhibitors, and greeting friends in the Exposition Hall on Monday evening.

Film Festival
Three days of short films will be shown by agencies, organizations and individuals in the areas of oil spill related training, education and restoration as well as response and operations activities. A long-standing tradition of presenting Awards to the best film will be held during the Tuesday luncheon. Five Guys Named Moe Gala Event
Come enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing to celebrate the end of an exciting week. The Gala Event will be held on Thursday evening at the Oregon Convention Center in the Portland Ballroom. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, networking with colleagues and be able to dance the night away to the sounds of the “Ultimate Dance and Show Band” - 5 Guys Named Moe. The cost is $40 per person and tickets can be purchased through the online registration form. People are still talking about the last gala event, so sign up today!
